The Old Lodge - Malton

The beds were exceptionally comfortable, the rooms were fabulous with a bathroom, everything was great. Brilliant location to attractions like Roman fort, that was minutes from the hotel. You could walk to shops and a market. Could use their ample parking. Had a fantastic stay for the price & definitely coming here again.

Besides, the parking was on site. Its stunning, central location was a plus.

The feature room was truly stunning with breathtaking views. The food was so delicious, especially dinner, and the breakfast had plenty of choices that exceeded my expectations!

The staff were helpful while the room had dirty walls.

Ask about transporting your luggage to the annex. it can save you from a tiring trek in bad weather.

We checked in on a Friday and loved the spacious room with its huge bathroom. The cozy lounge was perfect for winding down. The hotel has a lovely garden area, ideal for both relaxing by the flower beds and enjoying morning coffee on the patio. A minor hiccup was the bathroom setup, which was a bit cramped, but overall, we had a fantastic time! 😊

Had a fun getaway with friends! We explored the gardens and dined at some great local spots. The place is super cozy, and the staff was always friendly. The lounge area was perfect for hanging out, and we enjoyed the full English breakfast each morning. Definitely worth it for a group trip!

We did face some noise issues from the main road, hard to sleep. A little soundproofing would go a long way.

It was just a perfect match for a lightning trip in Malton with good value considering price it charged. Dinner was lovely, but we couldn't find a place to sit afterwards due to wedding guests.

The garden was beautiful and the big bath was sooo nice. The rooms were clean and airy with lovely bedding. The hot shower was perfect after a long day! The staff were really friendly too, feel cute.

The only downside was the traffic noise outside my room, it was pretty loud at night. It took a bit long to check in because there was a party happening.

My stay in the annexe was a pleasant experience overall, with a clean room and easy access to the town center. The grounds were well-kept and peaceful, providing a lovely environment to relax. Although there was a noticeable smell coming from the bathroom and the fire alarm woke us early, the staff were polite and helpful despite these issues.

Staying at the old lodge was a pleasant surprise. The beautiful building and great location made a lovely first impression. Beth at reception stood out. She was friendly and took the time to engage my autistic son, the world to us. The room was comfortable, and the bathroom was spotlessly clean.

Great location near Malton center, but the room was a bit dated.

Decent room with comfy beds. A bit noisy due to traffic. Great grounds. A golf course nearby. Staff very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Nice hotel with great amenities like free Wi-Fi, a bar/lounge area, and 24-hour reception. The staff helped me with my luggage during my first stay, which I appreciated. I highly recommend it!
